NAC's Overnight Camp took over a private resort in Petchaburi for a weekend of sandcastle competitions, karaoke, dance battles, seashell art, a beach-in-a-bottle project, beachside barbecue, flag football, swimming, and more. None of that is what made it special. What made it special is who showed up: parents, teachers, and students, all staying, eating, and competing together, not dropping off children and driving away.

What makes NAC's Overnight Camp special, and what makes most of our events special, is that we intentionally design them as full family events. We believe a child only reaches their true potential when parents, teachers, and students are genuinely interconnected, not three separate parties who occasionally cross paths at drop-off.

NAC is built from the ground up for families. We care about the home-school connection enough to put parents and teachers in the same sand, the same pool, and the same karaoke room, because that is where the connection actually happens.

Flag football opened as a quick pass-and-catch warm-up in the resort courtyard, students and staff lobbing the ball back and forth between activities. By the time it moved to the beach, it had turned into full contact on sand, flags snatched mid-dive and more than one player ending up face-down in the surf line.

Swimming turned into an actual water war once the water guns came out, with goggles doubling as the only real defense anyone had.

Between the bigger activities, students sat down to paint seashells into tiny characters and layer sand, shells, and seawater into bottles, a beach in miniature that survived the ride home better than any sandcastle could.

Karaoke brought staff and students onto the same microphone, occasionally the same song, and always the same enthusiasm regardless of who could actually sing.

The dance battle that followed pulled in parents too, arms in the air alongside their kids, which is exactly the kind of photo that does not happen at a normal school function.

The day closed the way a good camp should, with a beachside barbecue that ran late into the evening and a grill full of marshmallows toasting over the coals, students crowding in three deep to build their own s'mores.
